Our school building was built in the Baraj neighbourhood in the district of Altındağ in 1988 with the donation of the land of a helpful named Ayşe Sıdıka KINACI and the State support. Education continued in 2 blocks until the end of the 2006-2007 academic year. During this period, as the school environment entered a new structuring process within the scope of the Northern Ankara Urban Transformation project, the number of our students decreased considerably.  Currently, education and training continues only in the B block.

In the 2015-2016 academic year, it became a Temporary Education Center for Syrian students under Temporary Protection in our country. With the closure of Temporary Education Centers in 2017, students were directed to appropriate schools according to their age or were included in the classes in our school. There are 1 principal, 1 vice principal, 1 English, 1 Kindergarten and 10 classroom teachers in our school. In addition, 3 volunteer Syrian trainers and 2 Turkish teachers work within the scope of the PICTES project. We have 199 students, 176 of which are foreign nationals. Although most of the foreign students are from Syria, we also have Iraqi and Jordanian students.

The high number of foreign students in our school has brought some language and adaptation problems. However, our expert teachers facilitated the integration of foreign students into education with the help of language support from Syrian educators and using various methods.

Vision of our school is to raise qualified individuals who will shape our future in an education home that has created an atmosphere of trust with all its stakeholders and prioritizes its responsibility towards humanity and its moral values. As a mission, we are an innovative, accessible, contemporary educational institution with a young and dynamic teacher staff who are open to development, having students in the center, accepting learning as the greatest need, aiming to raise people who are loyal to their values and always achieving success.

Our school also offers Turkish, family education and vocational courses to the mothers of Syrian students supported by the Public Education Center. Various activities such as trips and entertainment are organized for Syrian students who are in financial difficulties by many non-governmental organizations in cooperation with UNICEF.
